History

History

In 1962, associate architects Plinio Croce and Roberto Aflalo joined architect Gian Carlo Gasperini to participate in a major international competition at the time, organized by the U.I.A. – International Association of Architects - for the building of what was to become the largest office tower in South America, to be erected in Buenos Aires, promoted by the Peugeot company in Argentina. With the award of the first prize in this competition, the young architects, a little over thirty years old at the time and excited with the success, decided to organize a modern office, with the most advanced professional focus, with the aim to improve the technological aspects of architecture with a clear and honest language. Since then, the office has developed innumerable designs in Brazil and some abroad, rigorously maintaining that serious posture.

With the passing away of the architects Plinio Croce (1984) and Roberto Aflalo (1992), architects Roberto Aflalo Filho and Luiz Felipe Aflalo Herman joined the partnership, thus giving continuity to the tradition of the oldest architectural company of Brazil.
